Adult Support Programs Initiative - USAAA offers information on Adult Support Programs. One program is a model for a multifaceted center that is currently in operation in California. This program was developed by a USAAA Advisory Board member and we hope to expand this model in the US over the next five years.Â
Climbing for Autism Project, one of our new initiatives that was introduced in 2016. Indoor climbing programs around the country are designed to help our children and adults to: Develop positive recreation skills, Increase muscle tone and motor skills, Develop trust and relationship building skills, Increase self-esteem and empowerment, Promote independence, health and wellness, Increase knowledge and access to recreation activities, Enjoy themselves in a safe and controlled environment. It is one of the best occupational therapy interventions.

US Autism & Asperger Association is a 501(C) 3 non-profit organization exempt from federal income tax as recognized by the Internal Revenue Service. Donations are tax deductible for United States citizens. For donors outside of the United States, as well as US citizens, always consult with your tax advisor regarding whether your donation is tax deductible.
Small donations of even $15 or $25 make great impacts on the lives of individuals affected by autism spectrum disorders (ASDs). Larger donations (i.e. $250, $500, $1,000, etc.) make a very significant difference in helping provide scholarships for our USAAA annual World Conference, as well as supporting all of our other programs as listed above.
