*Rebecca School - Michael Koffler (founder of Rebecca School) noticed that children diagnosed on the autistic spectrum were underserved in New York. He set out to build a school age program for children on the spectrum. In the spring of 2004, he approached Tina McCourt (who at the time was the Program Director at the Early Intervention Center of Brooklyn) and asked if she wanted to be involved. She had a strong belief that a relationship-based approach was the best way to serve and help children diagnosed on the spectrum relate and communicate. Michael agreed and they set out to design a building and a program that would fully integrate the DIR® model. The school opened in September 2006 with 48 students and 53 staff members. Since then the student population has more than doubled and continues to grow each year.

Special Needs Planning Center - The Special Needs Planning Center was formed specifically to work with families who have children with special needs. The firm was created out of the need for a comprehensive planning service which would assist families in coordinating their legal and financial planning with the intent of preserving government benefits such as social security. We have developed a process, and a team around that process, to help families ensure this care. We recognize that every family with a child with special needs faces unique challenges every day in caring for their loved ones and it takes a well developed plan to make sure that the child continues receiving the same level of care should his or her parents no longer be able to provide it.

Strong Institute - The Strong Institute was founded in 1994 as the REI Institute by Jeff Strong and Beth Kaplan after more than a decade of research into the traditional uses of musical rhythm in therapeutic practice. We discovered ways to use specific rhythms and techniques to facilitate improvements in many of the symptoms associated with a variety of neuro-developmental disabilities such as autism, ADD/ADHD, learning disabilities and more. We are the first organization to define the clinical application of auditory rhythm to stimulate and synchronize the brain.

*Vaccine Safety Gaps, LLC provides information about the legal risks of vaccination. Vaccine policymaking has numerous and substantial conflict of interests yet generates billions of revenue for vaccine manufacturers. They are given substantial liability protection. Through the prism of the diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis vaccine, history shows how vaccine manufacturers lack safety incentives. There are significant legal risks, and there is minimal or no chance for legal redress for vaccine injuries. For more information about this topic please see the legal research article "Sacrificing Children's Safety for Vaccine Supply: Nonexistent Safeguards for Remedying Mandatory Defectively Designed Vaccines" available at http://papers.ssrn.com/abstract=2364071

"In the fall of 2011, the greatest gift we received yet was attending the four-day USAAA conference in Seattle. There I met my heroes and found mentors that gave me hope and expanded my paradigm. Since the conference, we now approach life and our son from the view of acceptance, help him to see and know himself, teach him how to self advocate, and join with him in enjoying the things that make him smile. We no longer fight against our son’s differences but embrace them and this way of loving has even taught us to how better accept and love each other as a couple. We still have a long way to go and even more to learn, but I now know that hope has no limit unless I place it there.
- Sara McCarter, Mom to Magnus "the great"
