Actress, Singer, and Author Holly Robinson Peete will deliver the Keynote Address at the USAAA 2008 Autism & Asperger International Conference which will also include more than 30 of the world’s leading Autism Spectrum Disorder experts who will discuss new treatment regimes and effective therapies never before presented to the public.
Ms. Peete, along with husband Rodney – a former NFL quarterback, has become a vocal national advocate for autism-affected families.  The Peetes have successfully managed marriage challenges and the difficulties faced in raising their son Rodney Jr. who is affected by autism…  and they are still going strong as a family after 12 years!  Ms. Peete will offer her compelling testimony on the twin miracles of compassion and communication.

Educator's Workshop
USAAA is proud to announce a new offering to its conference format that will be piloted this year in Austin at the conference, entitled "Autism: Impact on Education". This full day workshop is the first of its kind to be offered nationally within an autism conference format. Certificates of Attendance will be issued
to all educators present.
Continuing Education
Continuing education is offered throughout the entire conference. Health care practitioners are eligible to receive Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits. Certificate of Attendance (COA) will be offered to all other professionals. The conference also offers American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) credits. Learn more.

Panel Discussions
Exclusive to the USAAA conference are two panel discussions. First, in the Parent-Practitioner Open Panel Discussion™, you will have a chance to have one-on-one discussions with a panel of leading autism experts who are parents of children with autism. Second, in the Sibling Panel Discussion™, children and teens with siblings on the autism spectrum will share their experiences and answer questions.

Also, don't miss two stimulating panel discussions: first, the Chelation and Interventions Panel Discussion, presented by CARE Clinics, and second, the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Panel Discussion, presented by International Hyperbarics Association.
